COMPANY HISTORY:
Dansko was founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, former horse trainers who were committed to improving the quality of people's lives through their products, passion, and dedication to a better tomorrow.
While traveling in Europe, Mandy and Peter discovered the perfect "barn shoe" – the traditional clog. Returning with suitcases filled with clogs for family and friends, they soon started selling them from the back of their station wagon. Word of the clogs' exceptional comfort quickly spread, and Dansko (meaning "Danish shoe") was born.
